Tara’s Story
Tara Ramanthan is a Program Manager at Nexleaf Analytics and builds scalable business models to increase adoption of the cleanest, best-performing cookstoves. She merges her background in Economics with her passion for poverty alleviation and climate change which has resulted in two publications – a chapter in the book Poverty in India, and more recently, a chapter on how to enable results-based financing through real-time sensors and clean cookstoves in the book Broken Pumps and Promises. Her view of social change lies in a model that combines harm reduction and restorative justice: she brings her views and experiences to the Alipato Project as a board member.
