Meet Our Newest Partner: Christine MacDonald, Esq.
We sue batterers, defend survivors, and teach lawyers and law students how to do both. Through our Mentorship Program, we have partnered with Mark & Nowzaree, LLP, a boutique law firm based in Los Angeles and Orange County.
Christine MacDonald, an associate attorney at the Mark & Nowzaree law firm, has committed to taking on three domestic violence tort cases over the next three years!
Ms. MacDonald, a Texas native, has been practicing law since December 2015. She takes great pride in making sure clients receive the results they deserve throughout the course of their case. Ms. MacDonald has worked on several types of cases including divorce, custody and visitation cases, child support matters, guardianships, and civil litigation. Ms. MacDonald has successfully appeared in court proceedings in San Francisco, Alameda, Los Angeles and Orange County. Prior to law school, Ms. MacDonald was a social worker in Austin, Texas and Orange County, California. Her focus was working with foster youth and homeless families. Ms. MacDonald has taken her experience as a social worker and combined it with her legal background to provide the best possible service for clients. Outside of the practice of law, Ms. MacDonald volunteers as a member of the Junior League of Long Beach, is a mentor for young adults with Year Up Los Angeles, and sits on the Board of Directors for Long Beach Community Action Partnership.
