Kit’s Story
Kit Decker graduated City College of San Francisco as an Electronics Engineering Technician and believes strongly in using technology and science to help create sustainable communities. He currently works at the Bay Area Rapid Transit District’s Electronics Repair Shop, helping to maintain the Bay areas public transportation system. Kit is also an active organizer for SEIU 1021 and the Fight for 15 low wage worker struggle and volunteers as a tutor at Layette Elementary School’s Boost! program. In his free time Kit reads books on social justice, enjoys skiing, hiking, skydiving and helping truly democratic resource allocation become a reality in Oakland. Kit uplifts the Alipato Project’s mission by connecting us with unlikely allies and donors.
